This year, Ukraine will be officially represented for the first time at one of the largest events in the world of technology — Web Summit.
"Ukraine is a powerful IT hub in Europe. We have something to offer other countries — digital services, innovative projects and a developed IT industry. For the first time we will present Ukraine at a conference of this scale, where we will present our achievements. Participation in the Web Summit will allow us to tell the world about our IT ecosystem, attract foreign investors and generally have a positive impact on Ukraine's image as an IT country," said Mykhailo Fedorov, vice prime minister of Ukraine/minister of digital transformation of Ukraine.
On November 2, Ukrainian companies will present the technological ecosystem of the state, and Mykhailo Fedorov will talk about the achievements of digitalization in Ukraine over the past two years, presenting a mobile application and portal Diya, as well as other ecosystem products.
14 teams will present their startups to investors. 10 were selected and sponsored by the Ukrainian Foundation of startups on a competitive basis — SPOKK, Organization GG, Wantent, GIOS, Carbominer, Skyworker, Clasee, DJOOKY, AutoBI, Finmap. They will receive a promotional voucher with funding of up to $3,000 per team. Another 4 will be selected and supported by Ukrainian Hub (with the assistance of CRDF Global).
