Payoneer payment platform conducted a study and found out how much Ukrainian IT-businesses in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Lviv and Odesa earned on average in the first half of 2021, working with international markets.
According to him, the average income of IT-businesses from foreign clients for the year increased by 29%, total enrollments — by 34%. AIN.UA was told about this in the press service of Payoneer.
Measuring numbers on the level of monthly income, Kharkiv residents earned the most in January-June 2021: their monthly income averaged $1.570.
In second place was Lviv, where in the first half of 2021 IT-businesses earned an average of $1.480 per month.
In Odessa and Kyiv, the average income of IT-companies is almost the same, with a difference of 1%: $1.390 and $1.370 monthly, respectively.
The last place among the largest Ukrainian cities is Dnipro. There, IT-businesses earn an average of $1.340 per month, which is 2% less than in the capital.
Growth dynamics for the year indicate that the average income of IT companies grew most of all in Kyiv: over the year it increased by 41% (from the first half of 2020 to the first half of 2021). Odessa occupied second place: the earnings of the companies located there increased by more than a third — 36%. In Kharkiv — by 29%. The top-five ranking is closed by Lviv and Dnipro — their income grew by 21% and 20%, respectively.
