Currently, Ukraine is one of the most mined countries in the world. Due to many Russian mines and unexploded shells, Ukraine cannot fully plant crops, develop, etc. Demining our territory will cost millions of dollars and take from 3 years. Germany ordered from its companies Flensburger Fahrzeugbau Gesellschaft and Pearson Engineering armoured vehicles Wisent 1 MC for breaking through mined lands to speed up this process. It is known that Pearson Engineering will handle the equipment of the mine dump.
The amount of equipment is not disclosed, but the government's website indicates the provision of 42 "tanks for demining" to Ukraine. Wisent 1 is expected to arrive in Ukraine by the end of this year.
In addition to Ukraine, Wisent 1 is also used by Denmark. And Wisent 2 is available in Canada, Hungary, Norway, Qatar and the UAE.
