Deputy Minister of health Svetlana Shatalova informed about technical support of world giants within the framework of the Ukrainian project “Emergency response to COVID-19 and vaccination in Ukraine”.
The proceeds are allocated to the purchase of vaccines against Covid-19 (approximately ₴ 840 million), refrigerators and equipment for sequencing virus strains, logistics, and a webinar for safe waste management.
A further ₴ 25 million has been allocated to four social projects:
- Development and launch of digital technology for tracking coronavirus patients
- COVID-19 dissemination operational prediction module optimization
- Development and dissemination of educational materials for health workers on the management of medical waste
- Informing the unprotected population about ways to resist the coronavirus
The treaty will remain in force until 2024.
