“UkraineInvest” Receives 23 Bids from Investors Worth $1,35 bln

Such data were provided by the executive director of "UkraineInvest" Serhiy Tsivkach during the online presentation of the results of the study "Investment Attractiveness Index of Ukraine"

"Since we were authorized by the government to act as an authorized institution to support projects with significant investments, we have 23 projects, two more — we are discussing. In total, there were more than 80 applications. Currently, the total amount is more than $1,35 billion," said Tsivkach.

A significant part of the projects received by UkraineInvest relates to agricultural processing.

These are mainly companies from Turkey, Lithuania, Mexico, Switzerland, and Georgia.

According to UkraineInvest executive director Serhiy Tsivkach, one of the projects concerns production for the global network.

"By the way, we have just returned from Lithuania and we have one project for 30 million and one potential projects for over €200 million," Tsivkach said.

The task of UkraineInvest is to look for investors, both in Ukraine and abroad, and explain to them the advantages of the law and the opportunities it opens, to organize communication between central and local executive bodies, to provide feasibility studies for projects.

We will remind you that earlier the government authorized UkraineInvest to accompany investors in the state programs which are provided by the recently signed law About the state support of investment projects with considerable investments.
