One of the largest metallurgical holdings globally, the Ukrainian Metinvest and its partners manufactured and delivered to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 40.000 anti-tank hedgehogs and 10.000 studded chains against wheeled vehicles. This equipment will suffice for long-term deterrence of the enemy's advance on our land.
"We are helping to strengthen the checkpoints: more than 2.6 thousand tons of sand and rubble, 2.400 reinforced concrete blocks and slabs, timber have been imported. We are also strengthening social infrastructure facilities, including hospitals, by providing sand and steel sheets," the representatives said.
Also, a group of companies purchased and handed over to our country 80 units of heavy wax and specialized equipment. The equipment is currently at its destination. The army received batteries and more than 30.000 liters of fuel from Metinvest in return for vehicles.
Especially for the territorial defense and internal affairs of Ukraine, Metinvest purchased and handed over 49 walkie-talkies and 17 stationary radio devices. Metinvest transferred €10 million to protective equipment and first aid kits separately. $500.000 was invested in the trust charity fund in the city of Zaporizhia for the purchase of bulletproof vests and medicines.
