Ukrainian director and video maker Tanu Muino created a video for Lenny Kravitz's song TK421 from his new album Blue Electric Light. This work by Tanu stylistically reflects the director's vision: a daring and symmetrical picture rich in colours and original choreography. This is not the first collaboration between Lenny Kravitz and Tanu Muino.
Historical information: the roots of Lenny Kravitz originate in Kyiv. The singer's great-grandfather was born and raised in the capital of Ukraine, and his son eventually emigrated to the USA, where he married Lenny's grandmother. The original surname of his family is Kravets, a popular one in Ukraine that means "tailor". During its life and registrations in the USA, the family name transformed into Kravitz.
"You put two Ukrainians together and that's what happens. All love and respect to you. Can't wait to do it again," Lenny commented the announcement of his video on Tanu Muino's Instagram.
The singer was in Kyiv several times, and with the beginning of a full-scale war, he supported our country: "My heart aches for everyone in Ukraine right now. I send all of my prayers for love, peace and safety during this tumultuous & unimaginable time. Stay strong, and let love rule. We must always remember we are one people, one family."
