Ukrainian Grain Corridor Exports 45 Million Tons to 44 Countries

The Ukrainian grain corridor, operational for almost nine months, has successfully exported 45 million tons of cargo via 1,600 ships from the ports of Odessa, as announced by Ukraine’s Ministry of Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure.

In a statement on their Facebook page, the Ministry emphasized that these shipments primarily consist of agricultural products destined for global food markets, affirming Ukraine's role as a leading agricultural exporter and a key player in global food security. The Ministry highlighted that 38 countries worldwide have received over 30 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products.

Additionally, 108 ships are currently en route to the ports, carrying over 3 million tons of cargo.

This announcement follows a record-setting April during which Ukraine exported goods totaling more than 13 million tons, valued at $3.3 billion, surpassing pre-war figures from February 2022.
