According to the Henley Passport Index, Ukraine now shares the 30th position out of 106 countries with Grenada, Panama, Paraguay, and Saint Lucia. Holders of a Ukrainian passport can travel visa-free or obtain a visa on arrival to 148 countries worldwide.
At the top of the ranking is Singapore, whose passport holders enjoy visa-free access to 195 countries, the highest in the world. Following Singapore are Japan and several European nations. Japan ranks second, providing access to 193 destinations, including the restoration of visa-free travel to neighboring China for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.
European Union member states such as France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, along with Finland and South Korea, share the third place, each offering visa-free access to 192 destinations without the need for a prior visa.
Conversely, Afghanistan remains at the bottom of the list, ranking last with visa-free access to only 26 destinations, a slight decrease from the previous year.
