On July 21, the Ministry of infrastructure published information on the conclusion of a new strategic partnership between Ukraine and Poland. This time — oil.
The state-owned energy importer Ukrzaliznytsia has agreed with PKN Orlen, which will subsequently be the leading operational and system supplier of diesel fuel to Ukraine. The details of the contract were not disclosed.
"We are counting not only on improving the situation with the shortage but also on reducing the price of diesel at gas stations," the minister of infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov.
Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen is an oil refinery concern that includes 7 plants, 2 of which are abroad (the Czech Republic and Lithuania).
We remind you that Ukrzaliznytsia is Ukraine's national operator of passenger and freight railway communication. These trains deliver ministers and presidents of other countries to Kyiv and also evacuate Ukrainians from dangerous points in eastern Ukraine.
