This message was shared by the general director of Ukrposhta Igor Smelyanskiy. He noted that it is planned to build an automatic sorting center (hub) with an area of 26 thousand sq. m. in Lviv on a plot of 8 ha — with a total cost of $ 52 million.
In Ivano-Frankivsk, on a plot of 3 ha, it is planned to build a sorting center (depot) with an area of 6 thousand sq.m. — with a total cost of $ 13 million.
Igor Smelyanskiy added that the company has many clients in the West of Ukraine, and they (like everyone else) deserve to receive high-quality, modern services.
Today the company is making the first, but a confident step in this direction, where Lviv will become the center responsible for the logistics of the West of Ukraine and a link with Europe.
In addition, according to the head of Ukrposhta, after the completion of construction, it will sell some of its buildings in the central part of these cities.
