Ukrainian Startup “Party.Space” Raised $1 Million from National and Foreign Investors

The startup raised $1 million from “TA Ventures”, “ICLUB” and “Day One Capital”

Representatives of the TA Ventures fund, one of the companies which made the investment in the startup, told AIN.UA about this.

Party.Space is a virtual platform for corporate parties, themed events, seminars and afterparty with immersive 3D presence and gaming activities.

The company was founded by Yuryy Filipchuk, Dmityy Zavada and Artur Ostapenko during the pandemic when all communications shifted to an online format. Prior to Party.Space, the founders worked in venture capital, blockchain projects and game development. CTO Maxim Rodionov, who previously occupied the same position at Ubisoft, is responsible for the technical part of the project.

After attracting the funding round, the Party.Space team is about to launch their first metaverse and a dedicated NFT themed collection.

Party.space allows you to create separate virtual spaces for corporate events. The startup solves the problem of team communication in a remote work environment through the gamification of meetings, video communication and 3D. Now the project has 11 types of virtual venues for different types of virtual events. In addition, Party.Space analyzes the length of time people spend at an event, their behavior, who they communicate with, and what content they prefer.

The company's clients include Scania, Wargaming, Grammarly, Epidemic Sound, Plug'n'Play and DevGamm. At Epicdemic Sound, the average user interaction time in a virtual room was three hours and seven minutes.

TA Ventures representatives are sure that existing solutions for online events do not provide a sufficient level of engagement and interaction between participants. Corporate events are increasingly moving online, but despite strong demand, the industry is faced with the challenge of not having products that provide near-offline levels of intimacy.

Party.Space solves these problems by offering customized rooms and a strong technical component, which makes it possible for a large number of people’s 3D avatars to be present in one room.

“The fund was impressed by the project team: the technology and speed of the Party.Space product is significantly higher than that of other projects in the field of virtual spaces,” said Igor Pertsya, a venture partner of TA Ventures.
