Ukrainian Voice Assistant Raised $110 Thousand on “Kickstarter”

Startup “Senstone” has introduced the second generation of its product called “Scripter”

Ukrainian startup Senstone is developing a compact voice assistant in the form of a pendant. It can be attached to clothing, such as a shirt collar, and helps you take notes with your voice.

The startup first announced itself in 2017, when it entered Kickstarter with a product of the same name. In that campaign, the team raised $302.000 from 2.700 backers.

In November 2021, the company once more went into crowdfunding with the second generation of an assistant called Scripter. This is an improved version of the previous model.

Scripter is able to translate voice notes into text, record them on a dictaphone, is resistant to water, dust, and drops. In the second device, the developers have improved the quality of the recording and accelerated the translation of voice into text. The new Scripter battery lasts 3.5 times longer with 10 days standby time and 6 hours of continuous recording. Cloud storage has been expanded too.

In 2021, the company also unveiled a mobile app that works with The Accurate Notes pendant. It collects all the posts that you can edit or share.

Scripter cost on Kickstarter amounts to $100. At the time the article was published, 748 people had already ordered it. The previous version cost was $120 in crowdfunding and $145 in retail.

The startup Senstone was founded by Nazar Fedorchuk in 2015. A year later, Markiyan Matsekh joined the project as a co-founder. But soon in 2019, he left the project by mutual decision of the partners.
