On June 5, the occupiers again attacked the Kyiv region. Russians sent four missiles to the wagon repair factory. One person was injured by a missile attack, and some workshops were also destroyed. There were also grain trucks in the territory. However, the Russian side claims that the factory had tanks of the Ukrainian army.
Despite the statements of Russian officials, who have already mixed in television propaganda, Ukrainian rescuers and authorities carried out several to restore the plant. Four days after the enemy shelling, the Darnitskyy wagon repair plant on the left bank of the capital of Ukraine began working again.
"Two days at the factory continued investigative actions. Law enforcement agencies recorded the results of the shelling. Another day cleaned up the rubble. Thanks to local activists who helped in this. And by the fourth day, yesterday on Thursday, the plant returned to work. We start working in those workshops, where possible. We move the surviving equipment from the destroyed workshops. We resume the repair of the cars. Because we need to increase exports," said the head of the board of the joint-stock company Ukrzaliznytsya Oleksandr Kamyshyn.
The plant will operate without three buildings. They are and cannot be rebuilt.
