Ukrainian Wine Enters the Finnish Market

Odesa "Shabo" can now be found in 21 countries and wine lists of Michelin restaurants

Shabo wines have been a family business of the Iukuridze family for over 200 years. Since 1822, vineyards in the Odesa region of Shabo have been giving grapes for wines, sparkling wines and cognacs, which can be tasted not only in Ukraine but also in Michelin-starred establishments around the world.

Giorgi Iukuridze, the heir and co-founder of Shabo, said that for the first time in the history of the Finnish state company, Alko opened a tender for Ukrainian wine, and Shabo won it. After 2-3 months, Shabo products will be available from Alko shelves. Work on entering the Finnish market has been ongoing since the autumn of 2022.

"Product quality helped win quickly and undeniably," Giorgi Iukuridze.

Thus, Shabo wines are already represented in 21 world markets.

We remind you that the quality of the Ukrainian wine 46 Parallel is marked by the wine consultant of Her Majesty Elizabeth II.
