Usually, when it comes to wine, one immediately recalls sunny Georgia, where wine is flowing a river or romantic France with its famous cabernet sauvignon, or picturesque Italy with famous Tuscan farms, which in the 14th century delivered their wines to the royal court.
The residents of Ukraine, too, do not lag, and more wineries and private wineries open, inviting guests to familiarize themselves with the technology, evaluate the quality of production, and taste the best samples of products.
In our article, we want to introduce you to several of them:
- The vineyard of Lord Trubetsky
The only historical chateau of Ukraine is surrounded by beautiful nature on the coast of the Dnipro. Ancient architecture, mysterious basements, and a beautiful view of the Dnipro river, where Lord Trubetsky walked himself. Here you can see samples of wine older than 100 years. It is located in the village of Vesele, Kherson region.
- House of Brandy Tavria
Another place in the Kherson region where you can find good wine and learn all stages of grape transformation into the elite drink. It is the largest producer of cognacs with extensive vineyards in Ukraine — about 1400 hectares of vineyards located close to the reserve Ascania-Nova. More than 6.000 oak barrels and bottles hold the best cognac alcohols. It is located in the village of Nova Kakhovka.
- Winery Shabo
The winery Shabo is located in one of the oldest winemaking regions of Europe. The company was founded in 2003, but cultural winemaking in these areas dates back to the 18th century. Today Shabo is a modern enterprise on which wine is produced, adhering to modern technologies. This brand's products are not only in all regions of Ukraine but also in Georgia, Israel, France, the Czech Republic, and other countries.
