Kyiv received the bodies of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Moscow. The International committee of the Red Cross reported that the names of these people were confirmed as persons in military captivity. However, Russian returned them dead. It should be noted that Ukraine has not received reports of deteriorating health from the aggressor.
The head of the coordination headquarters on the treatment of prisoners of war, Yuri Taranyuk, reported on the presence of new questions to the Kremlin, most precisely to the medical commissions. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of independent Ukraine, Russians have been violating all human rights and accepted international norms. Unfortunately, there are still at least 3.000 defenders of Ukrainian territories and people in their captivity. As of mid-August, 2.598 soldiers were rescued from Russian captivity. However, the invaders also illegally removed from Ukraine at least 20.000 civilians. All those who return from the aggressive clutches of Moscow need medical, psychological support and physical recovery.
