In the middle of summer, the Ukrainians, for 3 days, raised money that would have been enough to buy 4 Turkish strike operational and tactical medium-altitude uncrewed aerial vehicles. The collection was carried out by the foundation of the Ukrainian artist and businessman Serhii Prytula. With Ukrainian money, it was impossible to buy Bayraktar because the Turkish government was impressed by the cohesion of the Ukrainians and gave away the drones for free. Bayraktars, which Turkey has donated to the Ukrainian military, should arrive in the country by the end of the summer. Recently, it became known where the money was spent, which ordinary Ukrainian people sacrificed to win over the Russian invaders.
Serhii Prytula Foundation bought a satellite for the Ukrainian army. Representatives of the organization signed an agreement with the Finnish company ICEYE. According to the document, ICEYE should give the Ministry of defense of Ukraine full access to the group of SAR satellites already in orbit.
The government will receive satellite data within one year. This will help the Ukrainian military see Russian forces' movements and the occupied territories' state and plan offensive operations.
