This significant increase was highlighted in a recent publication by the National Statistical Service of Great Britain, released on a Thursday, as reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
Delving into the details of this report, it becomes evident that the most substantial influx of migrants in 2022 was from Ukraine, with approximately 114,000 individuals relocating to Great Britain. Following Ukraine, citizens from Hong Kong represented the second-largest group, though with a considerable gap, accounting for 52,000 migrants.
Moreover, there has been a noticeable uptick in the number of family members eligible to accompany those holding a British visa into the country, as recorded by the British Migration Service since the start of this year.
However, it's important to note that these figures are not set in stone. The experts at the National Statistical Service have acknowledged the possibility of future adjustments to these statistics, which could result in either an increase or a decrease in the recorded numbers.
