Ukroboronprom will build an industrial park on the basis of the Mykolaiv shipyard.
The state does not plan to give the dilapidated plant for privatization but is ready to create a shipbuilding industrial park on its basis.
These plans were shared by the head of the state concern Ukroboronprom Yuriy Gusev during the Forum of innovative industries.
According to the head of the state concern, the concept of creating a shipbuilding industrial park is being developed together with local authorities and specialized associations.
However, the timing of these plans has not yet been announced.
Earlier, the former deputy general director of the state concern Ukroboronprom Mustafa Nayem said that the Mykolaiv shipyard would not be privatized at all the wishes of competitors and those who brought it to such a state.
At the same time, he noted that the concern has an understanding that in its current form and on such a scale, the maintenance of the plant is inexpedient.
