We remind you that about 25.000 Ukrainians are in the flooded territory of the Kherson region without the possibility of evacuation: the Russians have taken away all swimming equipment from the local population and are shooting those who try to evacuate on their own.
"It was agreed that the UN will immediately form groups in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, which will be sent to the affected occupied territories of the left bank (of Dnipro — ed.) to provide humanitarian assistance and evacuate people while ensuring safe passage to the occupied territories from the territory controlled by the government of Ukraine," the Ministry of foreign affairs of Ukraine.
Now the UN expects from the Russian side guarantees of security and access to the territories of Kherson affected by the flood. Oleshki town: flooded on 90%. Many settlements have completely gone underwater.
