Massive Attack of Ukraine. 10 October

Missile and drone explosions in Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Odesa, Poltava, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih, Kropivnitsky, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyy, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv. How Europe reacted

On October 10, the invaders launched a massive rocket attack on Ukraine from the territory of Russia and Belarus. Missiles X-101, and X-555, launched from the Caspian region, were used against Ukraine. Also, the attack was carried out from the Black Sea area by missiles Kalibr, Iskander, S-300, and Tornado. According to preliminary information received from Ukrainian deputy defence Hana Maliar, 83 rockets were fired. Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 43 missiles, while the rest of the attacks targeted critical infrastructure and residential buildings. Under the attack, there were 16 cities, including the capital. It is already known that 8 people died in the aftermath of the attack on Kyiv. In other cities of Ukraine, there are also dead and injured. Rescuers try to save as many people from the rubble.

European сommissioner Reynders was in Kyiv during the bombings. The politician was moved to a shelter.

"This morning, a series of explosions occurred in the centre of Kyiv. Thanks to the quick reaction of the security personnel, my team and I were quickly transferred to the hotel basement. We are safe and waiting for the development of the situation," the European Commissioner wrote on Twitter.

As a result of the terrorist attacks, many cities were left without electricity. The government asked people to make supplies of water, food, and mobile devices. Zelenskyy has already asked Olaf Scholz to convene the G7 meeting urgently. At an emergency meeting, the president of Ukraine will announce a full report on the Russian terrorist act of October 10. Also, the German chancellor and the head of Ukraine have already discussed the punishment for such terrorist acts and the plan to rebuild the destroyed infrastructure.

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola also responded to today's terrorist attacks on Ukraine.

"This again shows the world with which the regime we faced: With a regime that attacks without dissolving. With the fact that he bears terror and death on children. This is a crime. They will be brought to justice. Ukraine will win. Europe will not take a look," Metsola said.

So, today Russia "outdid" even the Islamic state.
