Today is a busy day for Ukraine. Finally, the IAEA mission and Rafael Rossi arrived in Kyiv. There was also a delegation from Poland: the Czech Armed Forces supreme commander and his team. And that evening, the president of Ukraine and US senators met.
"I'm pleased to welcome US senators Rob Portman and Amy Klobuchar to Ukraine! The bipartisan and bicameral support of Congress is precious to us. The development of the situation at the front was discussed in detail. I am grateful to the United States for the security assistance! It should be continued and increased. This is important for the victory of Ukraine," Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to the president, an essential issue in the relations of the progressive world with Russia is the strengthening of sanctions pressure and the application of visa restrictions for the citizens of the aggressor country. Many countries have already imposed a ban on crossing their borders for Russians, still visa restrictions as a common measure for the European Union and the US are not yet considered.
"So that the Russians feel the consequences of their support for aggression against our country," Zelenskyy commented on his call to withdraw Russian visas and ban the issuance of new ones.
