In total, 178.796 doses of the vaccine were administered in Ukraine during the day.
Vaccination of people in total was performed in 3.735 vaccination sites by a team of 916 specialists. For vaccination, people choose the 3 main vaccines, namely, Pfizer, which is the leader, was chosen by 97.552 people, then CoronaVac, which 67.314 people chosen. Lastly, Moderna, of which 13.252 were selected for vaccination.
26.2 million Ukrainians have been vaccinated since the beginning of the large-scale vaccination season. Approximately 14 million of them receive only the first vaccination, and 12 million receive two vaccinations and domestic and international vaccination certificates.
According to the national coronavirus prevention plan, in May, at least 5.6 million vaccinations per month were required in Ukraine. It was necessary to vaccinate about 182 thousand people a day to do this. But in the end, this number of vaccines could not be achieved.
According to the state vaccination plan, were planned 6 million vaccines for August, and more than 8 million were planned to be vaccinated in September. Still, the situation was somewhat different, with only half of the plan being implemented in September, the same as in August.
It will be recalled that vaccination in Ukraine has been taking place since February 24. To date, Ukraine has received 36.6 million vaccines, including AstraZeneca, CoronaVac, Pfizer, CoverShield and Modena.
