A new industrial park in Vinnytsia region is moving from the legal stage to practical preparation. BRIL PARK, initiated by the Eragon investment fund, is planned on the site of the former Brailiv sugar plant in the Zhmerynka community.
The project is designed as a phased industrial redevelopment rather than a quick construction campaign. Work is expected to begin with detailed planning of basic engineering infrastructure, preparation of the territory and design of systems for electricity, water supply, water treatment, internal logistics and possible rail connection.
Why the first stage matters
For industrial construction, early infrastructure decisions define the cost and speed of future production facilities. The project team says that chaotic foundation work at the beginning can create expensive mistakes later, so the first stage will focus on design quality and permits.
The park is expected to be developed over about seven years in four stages. Existing production and warehouse premises on the territory may be adapted for some residents, allowing part of the businesses to start faster than in a classic greenfield project.
The concept gives priority to agro-processing and food production, which may account for most future residents. If the site combines utilities, logistics and ready-to-adapt space, it can become a practical regional platform for manufacturers rather than another industrial park only on paper.
