It is not the first time Zelenskyy contacted parliaments and administrators of other countries via video link. The president of Ukraine informed the people and politicians of Norway about the war. In particular, the president described:
- The Russian military attacks hospitals and residential quarters regardless of the time of day;
- Russia has created danger in the Black Sea. The NAVY has planted mines that can drift in any direction;
- The Russian military has already killed 145 children. It should be borne in mind that this is only official data.
The president of Ukraine also called on Norway not to finance Russia — to withdraw from the aggressor market. Zelenskyy openly stated that he considered Norway as the candidate for Europe's energy security.
"Freedom must be armed," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy. It requested assistance in the provision of anti-ship and anti-aircraft weapons.
"It is an honor to address the Norwegian people and its politicians. I believe Norway understands that the future of Europe, of the entire continent from north to south, from west to east, is being decided now. Ukrainian soil, Ukrainian air, Ukrainian sea. So that the Norwegian soldiers would not have to defend the eastern flank of NATO, so that the Russian mines would not drift into the Norwegian ports and fjords, so that the Norwegians would not have to get used to the sound of the air raid and that the Russian tanks would not accumulate on their border, should stop the aggression of Russia," added Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a video call.
Note that all parliaments are positively reacted to the Ukrainian president.
