In Slovenia, the competition European Girls Mathematical was held. 4 Ukrainian schoolgirls presented Ukraine in a prestigious scientific competition. There were 151 teams and 213 contestants. All representatives of Ukraine received the highest points. Thus, this year Ukrainian girls won the competition.
"The victory of our team of Ukraine in mathematics is the contribution of our children to our great victory, in which we all believe and in which we are going step by step thanks to our valiant armed forces of Ukraine," wrote the mother of one of this year's winners.
Also, the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine reported that Ukrainian guys took 3rd place at the European Olympiad in experimental science. The competition was held at Riga Stradins University. Children showed their knowledge and creativity in disciplines like biology, chemistry, physics, and more. Ukraine was, for the first time at EOES 2023 – usually at the competition, only representatives of the EU. This year 44 teams from 22 countries and 1 Ukrainian team came to EOES. Ukrainian students scored enough points at the prestigious practical interdisciplinary olympiad and took 3rd place.
Recall that the Russian Federation is carrying out a modern genocide of the Ukrainian people, including the extermination of children. During the 14 months of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the aggressor killed 483 children, stole thousands of children, and sent hundreds to "re-education". Russia understands that a growing generation is the continuation of the nation and the country's dignity. So no deaths are accidental.
