What About Covid and Monkeypox in Ukraine?

Ukrainian hospitals received more than 125.000 COVID drugs. And recorded the first case of infection with monkeypox

According to the Ministry of health of Ukraine, more than 125.000 anti-covid drugs have been sent to the regions of Ukraine today — Paxlovid from Pfizer and Molnupiravir from Merck. The pills will be issued by attending physicians and will be prescribed first of all to citizens from an increased risk group. Now in Ukraine, the peak incidence: over the past 7 days, 24.000 new cases have been registered. This is 7 times higher than the previous week.

Also, the monkeypox reached Ukraine. The Ministry of health does not disclose all the information in order to avoid panic, however, it is known that the first patient with monkeypox lives in the Ukrainian metropolis, has not travelled abroad for the last 7 months and has not been in contact with a monkeypox case.
