Who Was Able to Allocate £1 Billion in Support of Ukraine

The United Kingdom has once again increased the amount of financial assistance for Ukraine

On December 8, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared the happy news within social networks. The message concerned the result of his official negotiations with the British Government. So, Volodymyr Zelenskyy hastened to inform on Twitter that support in the form of financial investments will be increased again.

"As a result of my negotiations with British foreign secretary Boris Johnson last year, total British support will rise to £3.5 billion," was also recalled by the incumbent president.

As it became known after negotiations in 2021, Ukraine will receive an additional £1 billion this time.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with the solemn statement, told the way additional financial aid will be applied. According to the leader of the country, the money will start working immediately after entering the State treasury. A large sum of money will be spent to improve security in the country. Financial assistance will also be divided between trade and investment. We should note that Ukrainian companies, despite existing stereotypes, do realize investment projects abroad and have been representing the country on the global market for many years.

While Britain is helping Ukraine to build a strong financial foundation and achieve its goals, official meetings in the Fog Country are continuing. On 8 and 9 December, the minister for foreign affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, also paid a visit to England. During the meeting, important political issues, which we have already mentioned in our blog, were discussed. (тут вставить гиперссылку на новость 6 в этом документе)
