Today, Volodymyr Zelenskyy started his second foreign trip during the war. The plane carrying the president of Ukraine landed in England, where British prime minister Rishi Sunak met him.
"Welcome to the UK, president Zelenskyy. Slava Ukraini," Rishi Sunak on Linkedin.
"The United Kingdom was one of the first to come to Ukraine's aid. And today I'm in London to personally thank the British people for their support and prime minister Rishi Sunak for his leadership," Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
It is known that the president's schedule includes a meeting with King Charles III and talks with Rishi Sunak. Separately, Zelenskyy will visit the training base where Ukrainian military personnel undergo military training. On February 7, the MoD announced that Ukrainian pilots would also learn to fly fighter jets. This suggests that Zelenskyy and Sunak will discuss giving Ukraine F16.
