On October 26, the law on financial monitoring of PEP (No. 9269d) passed the 3rd and last stage of legitimisation: it was signed by president Zelenskyy. The urgency of adopting this law is not only in Ukraine's desire to break away from the Kremlin's legacy in politics but also to begin negotiations on accession to the EU. In addition to this one, the law on the restoration of digital declaration of income and the law on national minorities are also necessary.
We remind you that this summer, the European Commission unofficially assessed Ukrainian progress in fulfilling the mandatory conditions for starting negotiations on accession to the European Union: only 2 and 7 have been fulfilled. However, some Ukrainian politicians believe that even despite this, the Eurocommission will still advise starting negotiations.
