1.5 and 3 Months — Age of the Youngest Ukrainians Killed by Russians

The prosecutor general of Ukraine spoke about the inhumanity and barbarism of the Russian invaders on the children of Ukraine

Irina Venediktova published a post on Facebook about the methods of the Russian occupiers on children.

"Russia is ruthlessly taking lives and destroying destinies, maiming and raping, orphaning our youngest generation. Their painful growing up is a crime not found in any code, but we will do our best to hold them accountable for their stolen childhood and suffering. From the new habits of evacuated children — the heart shrinks. They save and hide food for the future. They know they need to turn off the lights because they can fire. From round-the-clock explosions and fright a child from Severodonetsk began to stutter. A 13-year-old girl's memories of a cold bomb shelter are the cries of younger children and the constant question of whether the war is over. A 9-year-old girl was hospitalized in a specialized institution due to her mental disorders. Some injuries will still make themselves felt," Irina Venediktova.

243 Ukrainian children killed by invaders will never again ask their mother to cook pancakes for them. Someone will never say their first word. Surviving raped children and children with amputated limbs, their faces torn by a shell explosion, will remember the war all their lives. And all this is at the whim of Russia.

Venediktova also recalled the forced deportation and "adoption" of Ukrainian children.

"Mothers are sent to Sakhalin, and children are sent to other cities. Is this really the 21st century? Now we are investigating 1.042 criminal proceedings regarding war crimes against children and the destruction of educational infrastructure," Irina Venediktova.
