In May 2022, Zelenskyy launched a fundraising platform for private individuals who want to help Ukraine with any amount: even $1, even £1000. During the year of operation of the platform, dozens of world-famous ambassadors joined its development, and people/businesses/charitable companies from 110 countries collectively donated $325 million for Ukrainians.
The press release of United24 shows that with these funds, the state was able to buy the first machine in our country for demining territories, 176 ambulances and tons of medical equipment, 3.839 unmanned aerial vehicles, thousands of ammunition for Ukrainian soldiers, rebuild 11 bridges destroyed by the war in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, etc.
"We conceived the United24 platform as one that would unite the whole world around helping Ukraine. After a year of work, we can say that it was successful. Millions of people in over a hundred countries support our country through United24," Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to the minister of digitalisation of Ukraine, the success of United24 inspired the Ministry to launch the Drone Army project — "a strategic state project that currently affects the course of events at the front." After that, the collection for an army of naval drones also began, and Ukrainians and our friends from all over the world support this fundraising.
Also, through United24, were established more than 100 international business partnerships and were implemented more than 50 fundraisings in various directions.
