Key Features of the Dry Port:
- Railway Terminal: The dry port will feature a comprehensive railway infrastructure to streamline the movement of goods across regions.
- Container Capacity: At the first stage, the terminal will have a container yard with a capacity of approximately 30,000 TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) per year. Additionally, a container warehouse with a 2,000 TEU capacity will be constructed during this phase.
- Infrastructure Development: The project involves constructing railway tracks, a weighing system, and a 3,500 m² warehouse.
Investment and Construction Phases
The construction of the Vinnytsia dry port is divided into two stages, with more than $15 million in private investments dedicated to its development. Work began in the spring of 2024, and significant progress has already been made:
