The cabinet of ministers of Ukraine has registered the Hempy UA industrial park, which specialises in processing technical hemp and producing about 200 products from hemp raw materials. On an area of 42.9 ha in the Rivne region, hemp will be grown and researched, and finished products will be produced and distributed.
A few days earlier, 2 more industrial parks were included in the Register of industrial parks of Ukraine: in the Dnipro and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. Collectively, these parks will create about 2.000 jobs. An industrial park in the Dnipro region, Krivyy Rih district, was opened on the basis of a former metallurgical plant. Accordingly, the park operates in the field of metallurgy: production, metalworking, processing of raw materials, and logistics of the finished product in Ukraine and for export. The park in the Ivano-Frankivsk region specialises in the textiles and light industry: food production and woodworking.
In total, there are already 67 industrial parks in Ukraine.
