2 Vessels Sailed From Ukrainian Territorial Waters

30.300 tons of grain are sent to Egypt and Greece according to the "grain corridor"

The Turkish Ministry of defence reported that 2 ships, Great Arsenal and Maranta, had left the Ukrainian maritime territory. 2 more ships were able to go out of the Ukrainian ports within the framework of agreements between Ukraine and UN/Turkey. The coordination centre in Istanbul approved the export of agricultural products from Ukraine and facilitated the smooth movement of ships.

First cargo Great Arsenal must reach Egypt. On board is 25.000 tons of wheat. The second ship, Maranta, will deliver 5.300 tons of corn to Greece.

As of 22 August, 27 ships had left Ukrainian ports. The vessel delivered 656.000 tons of agricultural goods to different parts of the world. Among the export products:

  • Corn;
  • Wheat;
  • Soybean;
  • Sunflower oil.

Currently, 26 ships have sailed to the ports of Ukraine to load agricultural products. Also, the international initiative to export food from Ukraine reported that the loading of Ukrainian grain on ships continues within the established plan.

1 month has passed since the signing of the "green corridor" agreement. On July 22, a document was signed with the participation of the United Nations, Ukraine and Turkey. In accordance with the agreement, Ukrainian grain can be exported from 3 ports on the territory of Ukraine — Chornomorsk, Odesa and Southern. The first grain ship sailed on 1 August.
