240 Tons of Energy Equipment for Ukraine From Norway

The state sent 26 packages of humanitarian cargo to restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure

On June 16, negotiations between the Ministry of energy of Ukraine and representatives of the Norwegian embassy in Ukraine took place in Kyiv. The parties discussed promising directions for the cooperation of our states:

"Projects on the development of renewable energy sources, decentralisation of local generation, development of modern distribution networks in the regions and introduction of hydrogen technologies and biomethanol," Ministry of energy of Ukraine.

Deputy minister of energy Yaroslav Demchenkov told diplomats Oleksandra Vatsko, Ellen Sty and Dmytro Pankratov about Ukraine's situation due to the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP and the measures that the Ministry, together with specialised services, are taking to eliminate the consequences of the terrorist attack. Such as, for example, the restart of the Zaporizhzhya NPP unit, which contributed an additional 1.000 MW to the energy system of Ukraine.

In the process of preparing for the new heating season, Ukraine is intensively repairing and restoring energy infrastructure facilities, as well as replacing/stocking up equipment for energy networks. Demchenkov thanked Norway for the very timely delivery of 26 humanitarian cargoes with equipment for the energy sector of Ukraine: electric generators, power transformers and current transformers, special equipment and consumables for repair and restoration.
