The draft law proposes the creation of new budget programs — the centralized purchasing of oxygen stations for supporting healthcare institutions and a subvention from the state budget to local ones for the purchase of services for the design and installation of oxygen stations.
The law provides for the allocation of $24,4 mln for equipment and $5,6 mln for the design and installation. The funds are proposed to be redistributed from the proceeds from import VAT.
"The Ukrainian government will share oxygen with India. Ukraine has decided to help with the large-scale coronavirus outbreak in India," said the prime minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal.
