30m Ukrainian Flag Over Canada

In Ottawa was unfurled a giant flag of Ukraine to support Ukrainian resistance to Russian aggression

On February 20, at the Flora footbridge above the Rideau canal in the centre of Canada's capital, hundreds of people dressed in Ukrainian symbols came out to support Ukraine. In honour of solidarity with Ukraine and the year of confrontation of European values against the "Russian world", a 30-meter flag of Ukraine was unfurled, and dozens of flags of Ukraine, Canada and Poland. Representatives of Canada, Germany and Poland joined the action.

"Almost a year ago, Russia unleashed its devastating invasion of Ukraine. We must strengthen our resolve to support the Ukrainian people, who are still fighting for the future of their country," пovernor general of Canada Mary Simon.

“Poland remains in #StandWithUkraine mode since 2014, occupation of Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk," the Polish embassy in Canada.

"This is an expression of solidarity with Ukraine, a state that bravely defends itself from a brutal attack, defending its identity, sovereignty and people," said the ambassador of Germany, Sabine Sparwasser.

Tomorrow, February 24, 24 states and 50 countries of the world will come out to support the Ukrainians, who, on this day, most likely, will be fired upon by Russian missiles.
