Russia’s full-scale military invasion of Ukraine has so far only made it possible to trace the future demographic crisis of the aggressor country. For 437 days of attacks on the neighbouring country, the Kremlin lost:
- 193.770 — personnel;
- 3.717 — tanks;
- 7.238 — armoured personnel vehicle;
- 2.992/552 — artillery systems/MRS;
- 306 — anti-aircraft warfare systems;
- 308/294 — aircraft/helicopters;
- 2.554 — UAV operational-tactical level;
- 947— cruise missiles;
- 18 — warship/boats;
- 5.936 — vehicles, fuel tanks;
- 375 — special equipment.
The aggressor has not yet been able to seize the most controversial territories, which are heavily manned: Bahmut, Avdiivka. At this time, the Moscow government faces new problems – a drone exploded over the Kremlin building on May 3. Ukraine denies any involvement, because this "attack" is an obvious Russian provocation. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine is interested only in the return of its territories. He also recalled that the armed forces of Ukraine need weapons, including drones, to protect their territories – it is foolish to waste them on mysterious attacks.
The West agrees with the president of Ukraine and is preparing new aid packages. Canada and the USA have already announced the amount of assistance. The Netherlands, the UK, and Denmark are considering scenarios for the supply of military aircraft to Ukraine.
Also this week, Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the International Court of The Hague.
The Russian military and political command, feeling powerless, is turning to terrorist methods – it strikes civilians. During this week, Kyiv, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Pavlograd, and others suffered from Russian attacks.
