At the end of 2022, the Republic of Azerbaijan handed over 45 power transformers and 5 backup power plants to restore the capacity of the Ukrainian energy structure.
On January 11, Ukraine received the second batch of aid from Azerbaijan — an additional 45 backup power plants. Each of the stations — 94 to 150 kVA. The equipment package will be transferred to energy companies of Ukraine and regions that have experienced the biggest energy disaster due to Russia's actions.
"I want to express my personal gratitude to my colleague, the minister of energy of Azerbaijan, Parviz Shahbazov, for his quick reaction and effective, timely support. We are grateful for your solidarity with the Ukrainian people," the minister of energy of Ukraine, Herman Galushchenko.
In response to Russian attacks against our country's energy sector, several countries and organizations allocated and transferred powerful technical, humanitarian and financial packages: EBRD, Austria, Germany, Holland, UK, France, Belgium, Sweden, China and others.
