Weekly update on Russian loses

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continued to attack in the Bahmut and Melitopol directions. In particular, the battle for the liberation of the Luhansk region and the deterrence of an attack by the occupiers near Belohorovka continues. Ukraine took the initiative, also today, the losses of the Russian army look like this:

  • 278.580 — personnel;
  • 4.702 — tanks;
  • 8.991 — armoured personnel vehicle;
  • 6.444/798 — artillery systems/MRS;
  • 537 — anti-aircraft warfare systems;
  • 316/316 — aircraft/helicopters;
  • 6.477 — UAV operational-tactical level;
  • 1.529 — cruise missiles;
  • 20 — warship/boats;
  • 1 – submarine;
  • 8.883 — vehicles, fuel tanks;
  • 933 — special equipment.

At the same time, the ISW reports that Ukrainian defenders have forever broken through another position of the occupiers in the Zaporizhzhia region. It is reported that Ukraine entered the occupied territory between Verbove and Orekhyv.

NYT stresses that the Russian army captured 857 km² in 2023, while Ukraine has liberated 370 km² since the summer.

In addition, Ukraine continues strengthening its relations with other countries and international organisations. Russia also does not change tactics and attacks Ukrainian cities with missiles, Iranian drones, and artillery shells. This week, British intelligence also recorded the return of Wagner killers to Bahmut.
