"Restrictions for Ukrainian road carriers in the Turkish market will soon be lifted, in particular, this also applies to the entry of empty vehicles. That is, trucks will be able to drive in empty and return with goods", Olexandr Kubakov, minister of infrastructure of Ukraine.
In the long term, Ukraine is working to lift restrictions on Ukraine carriers. For example, in relations with the European Union, Ukraine intends to achieve maximum liberalization of the transport of goods.
"Next is the expansion of cooperation on combined and multimodal transport between Ukraine and Turkey. We propose to create special conditions for setting up transport chains in the format of the road — port — road", Olexandr Kubakov.
According to the prime minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, the mutually advantageous agreement with Turkey opens the prospect of receiving about $3 billion annually for Ukrainian business.
