Airbnb's promotion of Ukraine will help not only develop the country's tourist destinations but also help in the post-war recovery. The corresponding document was signed by the head of the state Agency for tourism development of Ukraine, Mariana Oleskiv, and co-founder of Airbnb, Nathan Blecharchik.
After the war, Airbnb will distribute travel offers to Ukraine and improve the country's attractiveness. It is noted that the routes for customers can be very diverse due to the rich nature of the country, including the Carpathians in the west of Ukraine, the pink lakes in Kherson, the Crimean peninsula, etc. Thus, it will help to restore the tourism industry of Ukraine.
Ukraine and Airbnb will not wait for the war's end to start cooperation. The Lviv tourist office has already received instructions from the company. The international company also supported Ukraine at the beginning of the war. The Airbnb service helped 130.000 refugees from Ukraine to find free temporary housing in countries where the tourist network is widespread.
