In times of war, there is no time to put aside important matters. Therefore, a few days after the liberation of the mayor of Melitopol from the occupation, the president of Ukraine personally awarded him the Order of Courage of the third degree.
Recall that the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov was stolen by the Russian military. They held his fate in their hands for six days, tortured him, forced him to recognize the city as Russian. The Ukrainian government returned the prisoner in exchange for young Russian soldiers.
