On October 2, La Tribune reported that the Ukrainian company Antonov and the French Turgis et Gaillard Groupe signed an agreement on the joint production of Aarok medium altitude long-range combat drones. As part of the agreement signed during the arrival of French MoD Sebastien Lecornu, Antonov will provide its production site for the production of drones developed by Turgis et Gaillard.
This drone was first presented in June at the Paris Air Show 2023. The 5.5-ton drone belongs to the Reaper category and, according to Turgis et Gaillard founder Fanny Turgi, will only be used for tasks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The reconnaissance and combat drone can continuously perform combat missions for up to 24 hours. This will undoubtedly be a huge help for the Ukrainian army.
