On May 30, the president of Zelenskyy and the BAE Systems corporation team, represented by executive director Charles Woodburn, managing director Gebi Costigan and director for cooperation with Ukraine Christian Siar, held negotiations on opening a representative office in Ukraine.
BAE Systems manufacture M2 and M3 Bradley armoured combat vehicles, M113 armoured personnel carriers, M109 Paladin and Archer self-propelled howitzers, M777 howitzers, and Challenger tanks, which are just defending our country. The manufacturer is also a participant in the F-35 Lightning II production program.
According to the president, BAE Systems will open repair sites in Ukraine to produce its equipment in the future.
We remind you that Rheinmetall AG also plans to open its production in Ukraine.
