Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal outlined the allocations, which aim to support humanitarian demining, domestic manufacturing, and infrastructure development.
1. Humanitarian Demining of Agricultural Land
- Funding: UAH 2 billion
- Objective:
- Cover 100% of demining costs for Ukrainian farmers, enabling them to resume agricultural activities safely and quickly.
2. Supporting Domestic Demand for Ukrainian Products
- Funding: UAH 1.6 billion
- Key Components:
- “National Cashback” program to incentivize consumers to purchase Ukrainian goods.
- Subsidies for the purchase of domestic equipment and machinery to bolster Ukrainian industry.
3. Compensation for Ukrainian-Made Agricultural Machinery
- Funding: UAH 500 million
- Expected Outcome:
- 10–15% increase in domestic production of specialized farming machinery and equipment.
4. Infrastructure for Industrial Parks
- Funding: UAH 500 million
- Use of Funds:
- Develop engineering, transport, and utility networks in seven industrial parks across Ukraine.
- Improve investment attractiveness and operational efficiency.
About “Made in Ukraine”
Initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky, the “Made in Ukraine” policy has been in effect for six months, focusing on:
- Stimulating the domestic economy
- Increasing production and consumption of Ukrainian goods and services
- Enhancing industrial and agricultural capabilities
According to Prime Minister Shmyhal, these newly allocated funds will accelerate the policy’s goals, promoting sustainable development and economic resilience throughout the country.
