“Combinator” Selects Ukrainian “Awesomic”and Gives $125,000

Ukrainian startup "Awesomic" was selected for the "Y Combinator" summer acceleration program and received an investment of $125,000

Roman Sevastyanov and Anastasia Pavlishina, founders of Awesomic, believe that studying at Y Combinator will help their project grow faster.

Since joining Y Combinator in April 2021, the company's revenues have increased by 293% and the number of people has grown by 333% (from 15 to 50 people), according to the startup.

Awesomic develops an algorithm that connects companies with proven designers.

Companies pay a monthly subscription and receive task updates every business day. In the near future, Awesomic plans to expand the design community and product team to 100 people, now there are about 20 vacancies open there.

Companies such as Reface, Reply, Lift99 are currently working with Awesomic.

About 85 startups have already used the application of the Ukrainian team - from Y Combinator.

According to co-founder of the startup Roman Sevastyanov, Awesomic has a long history with Y Combinator.

“Back in 2017, Anastasia and I entered the first set of the online startup school from Y Combinator (Startup School). When Awesomic was founded in 2019, a YC startup was also its first client.

We are not only inspired by the stories of their graduates but have long been practicing the knowledge of this community in our daily work,” he said.
