Congressmen Gave a Standing Ovation for the Ukrainian President

The president of Ukraine addressed the U.S. Congress

The president of Ukraine continues to create history. Volodymyr Zelenskyy communicated with the United States Congress. Even video performance is considered an important event for any country. Zelensky will be the third president of Ukraine, addressing both houses of American congressmen.

In his speech, the president of Ukraine compared the war to Pearl Harbor and the terrorist act of September 11. The president has asked that a humanitarian no-fly zone be established over Ukraine or that a defensive anti-aircraft system be provided. The Ukrainian president also proposed to Congress that sanctions against political persons of the Russian Federation be extended. Zelenskyy also suggested that American companies exit the aggressor country’s market and close American ports to Russian ships.

The most sentimental part of his speech was very emotional for everyone.

"Americans! In your majestic history, you have pages that will allow you to understand Ukrainians. Understand us now. When you need it most. Remember Pearl Harbor. The dreadful morning of December 7, 1941. When your skies were black from the attacking planes. Remember September 11. The terrible day of 2001, when evil tried to turn your cities into battlefields. When innocent people were attacked. Attacked from the air. So, as no one expected. Our state is experiencing this every day and at night for three weeks, the president added," said Zelenskyy.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also proposed the creation of a new union called United for Peace. Congressmen gave a standing ovation.
